Welcome to the Wave Swimming Event Manager.

On this site you will be able to sign up for all of your fundraising/dues paying events at the RBC and Walnut Creek Pavilion. Through these events you will be able to first meet your fundraising commitment if you have one and then to be able to pay your monthly dues by volunteering at these events. At both sites Wave runs concession booths selling soda, beer, snack foods, popcorn and, dippin dots. Time commitments vary by event but average 4 to 5 hours.

There are training requirements for each site for the sale of alcohol, ALE for the RBC and TIPS and NC ABC for Walnut Creek. Classes for each of these will be published separately. An additional requirement to volunteer at Walnut Creek is for each family to have worked 8 events at the RBC.

Positions available at the RBC:

1. Stand Leader, pays $55 pay/credit: volunteer must be familiar with all operations of the stand front and back.
2. Group Leader, pays $50 pay/credit: volunteer must be familiar with operations of the front of the stand.
3. Cook, pays $50 pay/credit: volunteer must be familiar with the preparations of food stuff in back.
4. Utility, pays $30 pay/credit: volunteer works the front operations of the stand.

Positions at the Walnut Creek Pavilion are all fairly the same and all pay $12 an hour.

Walnut Creek Policy

1. A WAVE family must have been credited for a minimum of eight (8) sessions worked at RBC before working at Walnut Creek.
2. Any and all volunteers must have taken all required training courses (ALE, TIPS, etc.)
3. Each family will be allowed to register up to two (2) qualified family members over the age of 18 for any one event when the event is announced and opened for registration. No other individuals representing a particular family can register prior to 48 hours before event start. Within 48 hours of event start, registration will be opened to any and all qualified individuals and coaches. Wave Swimming does not define what constitutes a family member. This is up to the judgement of the individual family.
4. Credit rate is $12 per hour for all hours worked.
5. No minors are to work at any Walnut Creek function for Wave Swimming. (16 year olds can work at RBC for Basketball events only where no alcohol is served).
6. One or two persons may be retained to act as money counters above and beyond the required number of persons. This person must be 18 years of age and will be credited $7.00 per hour. This is up to the descretion of the Event Administrator.
7. No Coaches can sign up prior to 48 hours.

Proceeds earned at all events that are above what is paid out to the volunteers go into the general funds of Wave Swimming.
